Hi! Jack here, back again.
I wanted to let you know that on the 23rd of August, we'll be uploading another video.
Back in 2020, as the lock-down restrictions eased in the UK, we used whatever time together that we could to create a new Doctor Who episode, intending to follow the old videos we used to make around the ages of 9-13ish. (Those are now available on a playlist on the Nexus channel!)
We had a script, though to be honest I can't remember which of us wrote it, and we first filmed the scene where The Doctor shows his companion - Tim Phillips - his TARDIS (newly built!), and planned to meet up in town later on to film the rest of the episodes! :)
However, a few issues occurred behind screen, some made it tricky to work with the cast member who played Tim, and others including the rising of cases in the UK leading to another lockdown!
The second lockdown really was a nail in the coffin of our project, and we decided to call it off.
However, the two scenes we did film still existed in my drive! And we had a nice time watching back at our attempts of rebooting the series and imagining what could've happened.
So, as a nice little extra before Doctor Who: Nexus is released in November, I've compiled the surviving unreleased footage into a scene, which will be available on the Doctor Who: Nexus YouTube channel at 3PM UK Time on the 23rd of August!
We class this 'pilot' episode as part of the 'Old Videos' timeline, which still matters in regards to Nexus, but you'll have to wait and see why!
Thank you so much for reading, please feel free to read another post, or subscribe to stay up to date with our fan-film project! Good night!
